Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Looking for an experienced Accounts Receivables professional to join our dynamic Finance team reporting to the VP of Finance. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of managing accounts receivable processes; and have excellent customer service skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP strongly preferred.
Major Accountability
- Manages and monitors the full accounts receivables cycle including billing, cash application, and collections.
- Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and take corrective action to ensure accurate financial records.
- Work closely with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and payment issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, and Customer Service to ensure smooth financial transactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Cash application: Remittance retrieval, bank report reconciliation, payment confirmation and application.
- Ledger reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers ensuring all payments are accounted for.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of aging accounts.
- Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients according to agreed terms.
- Maintain customer master file data including payment and shipping terms, tax exemptions, etc.
- Ability to use judgement to resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
- Ability to handle customer calls with enthusiasm and professionalism and email customers regularly with order confirmations and updated delivery schedules.
Specialized Skills
- Associates degree or high preferred
- Manufacturing and Food Service Industry highly preferred.
- Excellent typing speed who can keep up with high volume of work and maintain accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
