Manufacturing/Warehouse Position (Covington, LA)

Since 1945, Bevolo Gas & Electric Lights has been manufacturing the highest quality traditional, antique, and custom designed hand-made lighting fixtures. Today, we are the largest manufacturer of handmade copper and stainless steel lanterns in the world. We currently have MULTIPLE openings at our Manufacturing/Production and Warehouse Facilities, located in Covington, LA. Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 7-3:30. Full and Part Time positions available. Position and responsibility will vary depending on previous experience and the position being filled, but here are various responsibilities depending on position(s):

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform various production related tasks such as Patina products, Create sub-assemblies, Prepping lights for packing, Making Boxes, Refilling shelves/bins, Organizing, Inventory, Driving/Delivery (Run route to other facilities in New Orleans and Harvey)
• Perform general warehouse/misc. tasks such as: Cleaning, Organizing, Breaking down boxes, Empty trash cans, Wash/details vehicles, etc.\\

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Degree
• Any Warehouse experience is a PLUS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive, talk; listen; stand; walk; touch; type and reach with hands and arms as well as occasionally lift lanterns and products up to 50 pounds, climb up/down a ladder and work in a non-conditioned warehouse.
