Homecare Consultant Job Description
The objective of the Homecare Consultant is to develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing and branding plans in order to promote Visiting Angels to potential clients and referral sources.
Job Requirements:
· Conduct potential client assessments.
· Stay informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans.
· Identify and network with audiences who have the right connections to refer clients and referral sources to Visiting Angels. Territory-specific list to be provided.
- Establish referral source contacts and communicate regularly with those target audiences based on tier guidelines.
· Organize and attend events beneficial for building referral sources. Some events will occur outside of normal business hours during the week and weekends.
· Evaluate marketing ideas and campaigns for effectiveness.
- Research and monitor competitors’ activity and pricing and maintain research databases.
· Work with the VP of Sales & Marketing to prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives. Plan and organize promotional presentations.
· Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the Ops Manager.
· Work with the Ops Manager to ensure that print and online presence of the company is up-to-date and effective.
· Support sales staff by providing marketing data, market trends, forecasts, and potential new referral sources.
· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
· Requirement for taking after hours lead calls and providing assessments for immediate starts on a rotating schedule to be determined by the VP of Sales & Marketing.
Sales Requirement
· By the 9-month mark of employment, maintain an average conversion rate of 35-40% per month.
· By the 12-month mark of employment, maintain an average conversion rate of 50% per month.
· By the 15-month mark of employment and beyond, maintain an average conversion rate of 55-60% per month.
Marketing Daily Requirements
- Make a minimum of 7 referral source connections per day on average.
Marketing Weekly Requirements
- Make a minimum of 35 referral source connections per week on average.
- Schedule one-on-one meetings with referral sources.
- Follow up with any new referral sources.
Marketing Monthly Requirements
- Make a minimum of 150 referral source connections per month on average.
- Schedule and complete at least one in-person or virtual presentation per quarter.
- Complete at least 4 individual meetings with referral sources.
- Add at least one new referral source per month.
- Attend a minimum of 3 to 4 networking group meetings both during and after hours.
· Plan an event or volunteer to help at a rehab, hospital, senior center, or association, which may include serving on a board, a committee, or helping with the Alzheimer’s Association.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
