Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, positive, and committed individual to fill a part-time studio coordinator position at our performing arts academy. The studio coordinators are typically the first people whom our customers encounter, and it is important that they reflect our brand and represent our studio in the most positive way! This position would involve working at the studio desk in the afternoon/evenings.
Hours:
- Mon: 2:45-6:00pm
- Tues: 2:45-4:30pm
- Wed: 2:45-6:00pm
- Thurs: 2:45-4:30pm
- Fri: 2:45-6:45pm
- Possibility to extend or add hours in the future
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Return phone calls and emails.
- Input customer payments and sell merchandise.
- Answer customer questions and assist with troubleshooting.
- Keep customer accounts accurate and collect past due payments.
- Keep inventories accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with end-of-year performances.
- Handle dance apparel inventory in the boutique
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and help each one to feel important.
- Track leads & prospective students
- Guide our trial students from trials to enrollment
- Assist with updating the web store
- Live chat with customers on our website
- Walk new students through our registration and on-boarding process
Qualifications:
- High school or some college required (dance/performing arts experience preferred).
- Retail experience is ideal, but not necessary.
- Office/phone/mac experience preferred.
- More importantly than previous experience is someone who has a high level of “people skills,” is able to diffuse situations, is decisive, and learns quickly.
- A commitment to health & wellness is required to represent our brand, although this job is not physically demanding.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
