Duties

- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure the safety and comfort of clients.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly valued.
- Knowledge of group home operations and home community care practices.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of clients.
- Proficiency in medication administration protocols.
- Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients.
- Strong patient monitoring skills to ensure the well-being of individuals under care.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques to assist clients with cognitive challenges.
- A background in nursing or related healthcare fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
