Payroll & Data Entry Specialist

We are URGENTLY seeking to hire a full-time Payroll & Data Entry Specialist to serve as an integral part of our team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with growth potential for the right candidate.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The Payroll & Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of payroll data for multiple companies and divisions using ADP Workforce Now. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive payroll information.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Accurately enter, review, and verify payroll data into ADP Workforce Now.
- Process employee timecards, hours and earnings to ensure compliance with payroll policies.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll wage, and hour laws
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to streamline payroll operations
- Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy.
- Preparation of reports, spreadsheets, budgets, and presentations
- Assist other team members with special projects or overflow work as needed
- Data entry and maintenance of company data systems
ABOUT YOU:
- Proven experience with ADP payroll software
- Prior payroll processing and data entry experience required
- High attention to detail with strong organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
- Certification or training in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, data entry) and general business environment
- Reliable and on time
- Spanish-speaking skills are a huge plus but not required
SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
- A team player with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Familiarity with payroll best practices and reporting
- Good organization and self-management skills
ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE:
Climate-controlled office environment.
Full-time position
Hours: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
