Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the office.
- Maintain an organized filing system for client records and office documents.
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support team members.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Handle incoming mail and packages efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm client appointments, coordinating with BCBAs and therapists.
- Maintain and update client records in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and comfortable for clients and families.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Google Suite and other computer applications.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience as a receptionist/Behavior Technician or in a similar clerical role is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with kids preferred.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently.
- Strong computer literacy with familiarity in managing electronic files.
- A friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
