Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Test Operations Quality Specialist , supporting TOS II, at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The Test Operations Quality Specialist will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for maintaining and supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Duties
- Proactively implement the BNH Quality Program for the AEDC Test Operations and Sustainment (TOS) domain as a quality professional embedded within the Mission Execution team.
- Conduct/verify test article and facility inspections, particularly for critical test processes such as foreign object debris (FOD), configuration and test readiness requirements. Serve as FOD monitor for respective areas.
- Provide support outside of primary area of responsibility as necessary or required.
- Represent BNH during quality audits conducted by customer, management, or other agencies. Interface with suppliers and subcontractors as necessary on quality related items to ensure defect free products and compliant materials are delivered.
- Lead and/or participate as a team member in quality audits/surveillances or other activities covered by quality/program plan.
- Enable the timely mitigation of technical and project management risks.
- Perform document reviews and inspections in support of Mission Execution activities, including providing support of capital projects.
- Utilize the corrective action program and manage assigned corrective actions within closed loop corrective action system.
- Implement work instruction actions assigned to Test Operation Quality Specialist.
- Execute the Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) process as required for assigned confined space work.
- Perform area toolbox reviews for support of tool ownership and accountability.
- Creation and/or sustainment of area metric data for trend reporting and analysis.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the quality program while leading a culture focused on improving quality, reducing costs and cycle time.
- Represent Quality with Mission Execution management, area personnel, and test customers across the TOS domain and provide solutions to their quality needs, requirements, and expectations.
- Work within assigned teams and independently, with limited to minimal supervision, and take initiative to resolve issues and formulate solutions.
- Exemplify behaviors consistent with a strong quality culture through demonstration of a focus on excellence, personal and shared accountability, and customer satisfaction.
- Support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS contract.
- Participate in and/or lead causal analysis to determine apparent and root causes of process failure.
- Responsibility for implementation of one or more aspects of the quality management program.
- It is a condition of employment to wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
- Perform other related duties related to Mission Assurance function as required.
- BS/BA degree with five years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and maintain access to the AEDC local area network.
- Current U. S. Citizenship required.
- Active security clearance
- Knowledge and experience applying industry or regulatory standards pertinent to the AED TOS domain.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality program requirements and the implementation thereof, as evidenced by continued proficiency in exercising assigned responsibilities.
- Quality professional certifications (ASQ or equivalent) related to Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, Auditing, or related.
- AS9100 or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.
- Experience with and a detailed understanding of DoD customers and the requirements and expectations of Aerospace and Defense customers, both government and commercial.
