We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets warmly and guide them through the visit process.
- Answer phone calls promptly, manage email communications, and schedule appointments using practice management software.
- Provide information to clients about services, treatments, and hospital policies.
- Process payments, manage financial transactions, and handle billing inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Update and maintain client and patient records with accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members about client needs and scheduling changes.
- Participate in educational opportunities to improve knowledge and skills.
- Assist with promoting the hospital's services and products.
- Handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in veterinary services, office administration, or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a veterinary hospital, retail, or customer service position is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in using computers and office software, including word processing and scheduling programs.
