Unarmed Security (Curaleaf)

Beyond Security is seeking a qualified and licensed Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Ocala, Florida. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This position requires vigilant observation skills, quick decision-making, and strong communication abilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of company rules and client policies.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintain high vigilance to deter potential risks.

• Respond to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.

• Communicate effectively with other security personnel, site supervisors, and property management to address any issues.

• Complete detailed incident reports accurately and on time.

• Enforce company and client policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.

• Perform regular access control checks, verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.

• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting visitors and tenants with questions or directions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Security Officer License for Florida (required)

• Previous experience as a security officer or in a related field (preferred)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to team goals

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must pass a background check

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule:

• Flexible schedule; may include weekends, nights, and holidays
