Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and physical education, with the ability to educate and inspire athletes of all ages. This position involves working closely with the head coach to develop training programs, manage team dynamics, and promote a positive environment for skill development and personal growth. A background in various sports, including football, basketball, cheerleading, 7v7, baseball, softball, tennis, or track and field, is highly desirable.
Duties
- Assist the head coach in planning and implementing training sessions that enhance athletes' skills and performance.
- Educate athletes on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport.
- Provide support during practices and competitions, ensuring a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
- Manage behavior effectively to maintain discipline and focus among team members.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to coordinate schedules and training activities.
- Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Engage with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and performance.
- Ensure compliance with health club regulations and safety standards during all activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in coaching or participating in all sports.
- Knowledge of physical education principles and behavior management techniques.
- Certification in CPR or childcare is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by practice schedules.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
