Counter Sales/Inside Sales

B&F Fastener Supply is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and driving sales at our counter. Summary/Objective

Responsible for welcoming customers, answering telephones, providing information and receiving orders. Be knowledgeable about products, services, policies, procedures, and able to prepare and properly display products and keep shelves stocked. Receive and tag returns appropriately. Calculate pricing of merchandise, rental or service orders and accept payments.

· Compute charges for merchandise or services and receive payments.

· Prepare merchandise for display or purchase.

· Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of products and services.

· Answer telephones to provide information and receive orders.

· Greet customers and discuss the type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase.

· Receive, examine and tag articles to be put on display.

· Explain policies and procedures.

· Learn the basics of proper merchandising.

· Strive to improve product knowledge.

· Keep stock on the shelves and display.

Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonuses eligible after one year of employment
