What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal / Legal Secretary position at BFH Law Group?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized. We are looking for a person who has a passion for the Legal field and enjoys interfacing with clients. Preferred experience in the field of Insurance Law, interested in work on the plaintiff side of the legal industry, and is great at communication.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft routine legal documents
- Create and maintain case files
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
- Conduct legal research
- Day to day office administration
Qualifications
- Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal
- Paralegal certificate or adequate relevant legal experience
- Comfortable using CLIO or comparable software
- Proficient at typing and taking dictation
- Customer Service experience
