Duplass APLC is searching for a Legal Secretary to join our dynamic team! The candidate should have three to five years' experience in an insurance defense setting and be skilled in the following areas : case management, scheduling depositions of witnesses and experts; maintaining calendars; preparing subpoenas for records requests; assisting with production of pleadings, answers, discovery, and releases; managing documents using document management software; proper formatting requirements for documents filed in all Louisiana courts and Federal courts, and fax filing and e-filing procedures.
Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience managing work for multiple cases and attorneys, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of NetDocuments is preferred.
