What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at BFS Companies?
Basic Function:
The manager is primarily responsible for providing work direction to the drivers. Specifically, the manager is to inform the drivers of the various locations to deliver product.
Essential Functions:
- Dispatching all drivers. To that end, this position is responsible for advising drivers where to deliver product;
- Responsible for taking fuel orders
- Maintain contacts and relationships with existing customers, so as to maintain their satisfaction level with the company;
- Schedule tank installations and all LP gas service;
- Responsible for ordering all supplies and parts necessary for location;
- Responsible for all paperwork generated by location;
- Responsible for ordering fuel and LP gas for the bulk plant;
- Drive truck as needed and perform necessary tank installation as needed;
- Assist with training and hiring process of new employees
Qualifications:
- High School education; and
- 5 years in petroleum industry; and
- Commercial driver’s license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.
