Project Inspector/Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager/Inspector to support the Neighborhood Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) project for the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) through our partner AECOM.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Construction Manager (AECOM)in serving as the Owner’s representative for the Owner.
- Help coordinate project-related correspondence, documents, and drawings through the Owner’s project management system (e-Builder).
- Assist in applying for and maintaining necessary permits, including those from DOMI, the City Forestry Department, and the Allegheny County Health Department.
- Support the tracking and resolution of complaints regarding the work.
- Assist with safety compliance.
- Assist with reviewing and monitoring the schedules.
- Maintain project records utilizing Owner approved tools.
- Review shop drawings and submittals.
- Assist with record keeping including taking minutes.
- Assist in verifying tests, equipment and results, help to schedule material and compliance testing.
- Assist with change order management.
- Assist in preparing environmental testing due diligence reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Adherence to our core values of honesty, integrity, teamwork and equity; team player, solid communicator both oral and written; ability to multitask; 3-5 years’ experience as APM or project inspector. Degree in civil engineering, geotech, or architecture preferred but not required. Onsite presence daily.
