Overview
BG Nebraska is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be organized, goal-oriented, confident, high energy, have a strong internal drive to succeed, and desire to work closely with a team. The area of this territory encompasses Columbus, Norfolk, and surrounding areas, plus all towns and cities as far North as Crofton, all towns and cities as far West as Atkinson, and all towns and cities as far East as Bancroft.
Responsibilities
- On the surface, a BG sales representative systematically and consistently calls on each assigned customer and quickly responds to customer needs
- Below the surface, each rep's ultimate goal is to partner with their customers at every level (owners, advisors, managers, and technicians) to expand the customer's profitability by utilizing BG products
- Each sales rep is responsible for training their customers to sell BG products to the end-user and to properly use BG products and equipment in servicing vehicles
- A key aspect of increasing sales is to open new customers in addition to servicing the already established customers
- Each rep must become a technical expert of BG products
- Training will be provided by the best salesmen in the industry who will have your success as their goal. Training will be full time, in the field, shadowing your trainer
Requirements
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections in the sales process.
