Summary:
Under the direction of the Assistant General Manager, the Operations Training Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and providing all job training activities to hourly warehouse associates assigned to direct labor roles and all warehouse activities of an assigned work team on a shift basis by directing assigned Associates in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of customer product in a manner consistent with service and cost objectives. This role is highly focused on candidate selection and successful new hire performance to goals such as attendance, safety and productivity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3PM-12AM
Pay: $65,000/year

Pay: $65,000/year
Essential Functions:
- Participate in new hire activities/orientations
- Track new hires in their performance for the first ten weeks and issue progressive discipline
- Identify and enlist OTJ Trainers to ensure the success of new employees
- Train new hires on MHE, Incentive Pay, Talkman training and Selecting
- Assist in the recruiting process by sourcing and screening candidates for fit
- Administer various vetting process steps as noted within the recruitment process in accordance with HR best practices and within legal policy and compliance requirements.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment by providing proper and current instruction regarding the safe operation and other safety related tasks related to safe operation of all WH equipment
- Supervise and coordinate the most efficient unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality.
- Ensure Associates follow all safety policies and procedures. Ensure proper food safety practices are maintained.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Participate in the WH staffing planning to ensure staffing levels are adequate and meet work flow needs
- Prepare and maintain employee time and production performance for all new WH hires
- Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide input on prepare performance for new hires
- Perform all safety and sanitation audit as required on schedule
- Counsel new employees in work-related activities, personal growth, or career development.
- Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as transfers, or coaching needs.
- Assess training needs of staff and provide appropriate instruction to match assessments
- Resolve personnel problems, complaints, or refer them to higher-level managers for resolution.
- Other duties as requested.
