Position Summary

BGI is seeking a full-time Weapons School (WS) contractor Instructor / Subject Matter Expert (I / SME) to facilitate graduate-level instruction that provides the world's most advanced training in weapons and tactics employment.

Job Responsibilities

• Instructs and measures training process of students who train in the established aircrew training curriculum.
• Conducts briefings and debriefings, provides counsel with students to develop and maintain a high level of proficiency.
• Performs administrative duties relative to training; such as recordkeeping, monitoring student progress, counseling, training development and maintenance of training programs.
• Maintains a high level of subject knowledge, capability and expertise.
• Develops, analyzes and reviews all assigned courseware and related materials IAW the current Air Force model of ISD as defined in AFH 36-2235 Vol. 1.
• Analyzes test items and cumulative data for trends, and performs basic trend analysis.
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all applicable regulations, instructions, procedures, Technical Orders, and other publications as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Reviews and / or revises courseware materials on both a scheduled and out-of-cycle basis IAW the PWS.
• Develops, coordinates, and produces a specialty specific courseware development schedule which identifies projected milestones and time phasing of courseware delivery throughout the year; updates this schedule as required.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
