Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial modeling and analysis.
- Refinancing and disposition transactions.
- Investment valuations and return projections.
- Conducting strategic asset reviews.
- Market research and data mining.
- Comparable sale / company analysis.
- Leasing analysis.
- New business development initiatives such as PropTech investing and co-working
- Development of presentations.
- Drafting of memoranda for internal and external uses.
Qualifications:
- Highly proficient in Excel and proficient in MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of Argus and MRI a plus; however, BentallGreenOak will provide formal training if necessary
- Skilled critical thinking and analytical abilities to reasonably anticipate the needs of those whom the Analyst supports.
- Strong understanding of IRR, NPV and other calculations required. Ability to perform discounted cash flow analysis and understand the drive and results required. Understanding of standard financial statement and components of credit analysis.
- Outstanding time management skills to meet multiple deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to write various types of reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- LEED accreditation a plus and will be required during employment period.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor degree is required. A Master’s in Real Estate or MBA is a plus
- One to three years of relevant commercial real estate experience preferred
Salary Range:
$85,000 - $115,000
