What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of SEC Reporting (elevated title - prefer less than 5 years of experience) position at BGSF?
Title: Director of SEC Reporting
Reports to: EVP, Finance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Prepare 10k, 10q, 8k and Form 4 reports for SEC reporting, including XBRL tagging
• Prepare Financial Statements and supporting documents
• Prepare and coordinate external audit work papers
• Prepare and coordinate Sarbanes-Oxley program
• Evaluating accounting issues related to non-routine and complex transactions and prepare position papers documenting issues, facts and conclusions.
• Actively participates in the monthly close process, including submitting journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Provide detailed financial and operational analytics in support of monthly and quarterly updates with stakeholder
• Ad hoc projects and analysis to support the senior and executive management
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2 years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Highly developed in MS Excel
• Strong knowledge using Workiva or like software
• Highly developed analytical and communication skills
• Must be systems savvy; experience with Dynamics D&O 365 or like system
• Highly organized, with focus on process discipline
• Ability to work with and influence people at all levels of the organization
• Ability to be flexible and able to work as part of a team
TRAINING:
