BGSF has teamed up with a large manufacturing company who is in search of a Logistics Compliance Coordinator on a direct-hire basis. Please note that this role will be fully in office and offers excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure efficient transportation and storage solutions.
- Utilize demand planning techniques to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and materials management systems.
- Collaborate with supply chain management teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain Government documentation completion within compliance standards
- Manage the proof of import and export documentation, such as commercial invoices, entry summary and packing lists
- Maintain research components of US import and export regulations
Requirements
- Must have 3 years of experience working within the logistics field
- Experience with importing and exporting required
- Experience working with government compliance standards
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
