Catering Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service at various events, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will work closely with the culinary team to deliver high-quality food and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Your hospitality skills will be essential in creating positive guest relations and ensuring that all catering needs are met.

Duties

• Set up and break down catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including utensils, dishes, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of menu items.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking as necessary.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and serving.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of catering practices is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
