Sr Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer

Position :  Senior IAM EngineerLocation :  RemoteEmployment Type :  ContractImportant :  This position is contingent upon contract award, with an expected start date of May 1, 2025.As an expert-level IAM Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring secure and seamless access to enterprise resources while maintaining compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IAM capabilities and support incident investigations.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and manage IAM solutions in hybrid multi-cloud and multi-tenant environments.Develop and operate IAM controls to meet business requirements for access and certifications.Troubleshoot system issues by analyzing logs, system changes, and health metrics.Assess the impact of new IAM requirements on applications, systems, and processes.Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to align IAM policies with business goals.Assist with investigations related to security / privacy incidents and ensure remediation plans.Provide expertise in automating IAM cloud solutions for deployment, management, and testing.Create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes and workflows.Minimum Requirements9 years of experience in Identity and Access Management.Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Masters preferred).5 years of experience implementing IAM solutions in hybrid multi-cloud environments.Advanced troubleshooting skills and knowledge of modern SDLC methodologies.Hands-on experience with IAM technologies such as ForgeRock or equivalent platforms.Preferred QualificationsCertifications such as ForgeRock Identity & Access Specialist, OWASP, or NIST frameworks.Knowledge of IT Security controls and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).Understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA, IRS PUB 1075, and FISMA.Familiarity with containerization technologies and tools like Docker or Kubernetes.Proficiency in tools and services such as GitHub, Jenkins, Postman, Python, PowerShell, and Microsoft Azure.Legal DisclaimerBH Zion is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
