Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized, results-driven, and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our roofing business. This key position will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards. As part of our veteran-owned business, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our mission of delivering superior service while maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, maximizing profitability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all functions
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Manage resources, inventory, and equipment to maintain smooth workflow
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve productivity and streamline processes
• Maintain positive relationships with insurance companies and adjusters
• Monitor and generate reports/resolutions for internal and external insurance restoration processes
• Foster a culture of safety, ensuring all field teams comply with safety protocols and regulations
• Manage customer service and communication to guarantee client satisfaction and timely resolution of issues
• Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Create and manage operational budgets and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvement across operations to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Issue/Conflict Resolution

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role in the roofing, construction, or trades industries
• Strong understanding of project management and operational workflows
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Solid problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Proficient in business management software and technology related to the trade
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and internal teams
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations within the roofing industry
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in siding, roofing, gutters, or general construction is extremely helpful.
• Ideally will have building product knowledge and experience in customer facing role(s) ( Manager, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service), demonstrating a consistent track record of Customer Service & Delivery, P&L success and know-how of building products, or have equivalent management experience in a similar business/industry.
• Must have experience using an ERP system for transactions, inventory, order management and other relatable processes.
• Minimum 5 years customer service
• Associates Degree desired but not required
• Minimum 2 years in management Construction industry background preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
