Job Description:
CNA-(Certified Nurse Aide)-Telemetry-Full-Time
- Certified professional caregiver working under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse.
- Responsible for providing assigned care according to scope of practice
- Has adequate knowledge to approach patients of all age groups.
- Has adequate knowledge to approach patients of all age groups.
- All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aid Certification required or successful completion of Fundamentals of nursing-(first semester)-in an accredited Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.
- Certifications based on unit worked:
- BLS
- LTA
- CNA Patient Deterioration
- Possess basic knowledge of medical terminology
