**Job Description:**
BHS Robotics is a leading provider of automated manufacturing solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our team in Hanover Park, IL. This is a full-time position that requires up to 20% travel.
The successful candidate will assist during the conceptualization and design process, support the development of electrical design and drawings, programming, commissioning, and installation of various vision-guided, robotic, automated equipment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project requirements and timelines.
- Design and develop electrical control systems using AutoCAD LT and Eplan.
- Program and set up controls equipment, including PLCs, robot controllers, vision systems, HMIs, VFDs, and servo drives.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of experience in electrical and/or controls engineering.
- Advanced programming skills, including Rockwell Automation platforms (Studio 5000, RSLogix, FactoryTalk View, etc.).
- Technical skills, including understanding and use of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic components.
