- Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input/output modules, and associated control wiring.
- Provide troubleshooting expertise of analog and digital controls with 480V, 3 phase power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and soft starts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices such as encoders and load cells.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces, including logic modifications in ladder logic.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot integrated and stand-alone graphic human-machine interfaces.
- Diagnose communication protocols, including Profibus, serial, and industrial Ethernet.
- Utilize electrical schematics to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors, and production equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems required.
- Experience with troubleshooting and performing maintenance on packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces, personal protective equipment, etc.) preferred.
- PLC programming preferred.
- Experience with electrical encoders, servomotors, and amplifiers preferred.
- Proficient with electrical schematics.
