We are seeking a results-driven Education Sales Manager to lead sales efforts within the Higher Education Market across the Western United States. How you'll contribute:
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy tailored to the Higher Education vertical.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing relationships with Higher Education institutions.
- Proactively engage new and existing customers through warm and cold outreach, networking, and in-person visits.
- Build strong relationships with AV/IT teams, decision-makers, procurement, and campus influencers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, deliver compelling presentations, and represent Biamp at local, regional, and national Higher Education trade shows.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Consultant Team, Strategic Team, Building & Infrastructure Team, and Integration Partners to drive pipeline development.
- Create and manage strategic account plans that align with regional goals and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
You'll also support by:
- Attaining working proficiency and knowledge with the Biamp platforms, including solution design and system programming.
- Identifying and growing a pipeline of Higher Education end users across the territory.
- Partnering with channel reps, integrators, and distributors to advance large-scale opportunities.
- Support Field Sales Engineers in system design, BoM’s, and solution configuration.
- Track competitive activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies across the AV landscape.
A successful candidate should have:
Candidates must meet all the following qualifications to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 years of sales experience in commercial AV, EdTech, IT, or control systems within the Higher Education sector. (K–12 experience will not be considered).
- Strong understanding of integrated AV systems, including DSP, networked audio, and control technologies.
- Experience navigating Higher Education procurement processes, AV/IT environments, and facilities management.
- Technical proficiency in networked AV systems, control platforms, and audio solutions.
- Proven success in solution selling with a demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets.
- Skilled communicator with excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Comfortable conducting on-site demos, trainings, and customer-facing meetings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools (e.g., MS Dynamics), and data analysis platforms such as Power BI.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Located in the Western U.S. (Preferred: California, Oregon, or Washington in a major metropolitan market)
Work environment & travel requirements:
- This is a remote (work from home) position based in the Western US
- Preference will be given to candidates located within a major metropolitan area in California, Oregon, or Washington.
- Travel up to 75%, including regional visits and participation in 3 national trade shows annually.
- Occasional travel to one or more Biamp facilities in Beaverton, OR & Plano, TX, and Chester, PA (2x/year). Plus, participation at 3 or more national shows.
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel (2–3 days/week, 3 weeks/month) to include mostly air travel.

- The total compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $185,000, which includes a base salary and quarterly bonus incentive. This range represents the expected hiring parameters for candidates within the designated territory. However, the final offer may be influenced by various factors, such as the candidate’s location, expertise, experience, and current market conditions.
