We are currently seeking qualified Registered Nurses to add to our team of professionals within Bibb Medical Center's Emergency Department.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Requires one to three months orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department and unit policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
• Must possess analytical ability to synthesize knowledge of nursing theory and practice, assessment and planning activities, technical expertise, and delegation skills to provide effective nursing care for assigned patients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Exceptional multitasking and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with patients and families, to elicit cooperation and allay apprehensions.
• Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Alabama.
• BLS required at hiring.
• One year's experience as a professional Registered Nurse preferred.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• RN performs functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients on unit during shift.
• RN is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment.
• RN is responsible for promotion of collaboration with all members of the health care team.
• RN Care Team Leader develops work plan and provides clear directions and expectations for care partner.
