We are currently seeking qualified Registered Nurses to add to our team of professionals. As an important member of our nursing team, the RN delivers quality nursing care to our residents, as well as provides care and services to allow residents to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Bibb Medical Center policies and procedures. Duties include monitoring and reporting changes in the resident’s condition, administering medications and injections, monitoring residents' health and progress and assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to LPNs and CNAs.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited RN program.
- Currently licensed/registered in Alabama. Must maintain an active RN license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
- CPR or BLS certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. Must remain current during employment.
