BBCA is now hiring for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher who enjoys a vibrant relationship with the Lord and is called to the ministry that is Christian education to join our team.
Role Description
As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement curriculum in alignment with the school's mission and vision statements, assess student progress, and provide support to ensure academic success.
All candidates must possess the following:
- An authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and a calling to teach.
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree, education majors preferred.
- Be proficient in technology
- Teacher candidates with certification and/or coaching experience will be considered a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field. Career switchers and new teachers welcome.
- Certification in teaching preferred
- Experience teaching in a classroom setting preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated knowledge of teaching methods and strategies for diverse learners
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
- Understanding of Christian education and the ability to integrate faith into lessons and activities
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom is a plus
