What would you do as a Activity Aide FT
As a Full Time Activity Aide at Fellowship Community, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by implementing a vibrant activities program in accordance with infection control and OSHA guidelines. You'll step in as the Activities Department contact when the Director is away, ensuring the seamless operation of engaging activities tailored to each resident's unique needs. Your duties will include recruiting and training volunteers, collaborating with supervisors to enhance service quality, and conducting both group and individual activities that inspire and uplift.
You will also maintain an organized environment, transport residents to social programs, and treat each individual with kindness and respect. This position allows you to create an atmosphere of warmth while documenting activities accurately, contributing to the high-performance culture at our facility. Are you the Activity Aide FT we're looking for?
To thrive as a Full Time Activity Aide at Fellowship Community, you will need a blend of creativity, innovation, and essential skills tailored for our vibrant community. A high school education or equivalent is preferred, along with basic computer skills to assist in planning and documenting activities. Familiarity with geriatric activities programming and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations in skilled nursing facilities will be crucial for ensuring compliance and enhancing resident engagement.
Exceptional communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English, are essential to effectively interact with residents and staff. Additionally, a willingness to pursue Feeding Assistant training will support your ability to assist residents during meal times. Your performance will reflect our R.I.S.E.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :
- Creative and innovative
- High School Education or equivalent preferred
