Equipment Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. This position involves operating various heavy machinery and performing labor-intensive tasks on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating equipment and other construction needs, as well as a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

Duties

• Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, skid steer, mini excavator, auger, bucket truck.
• Perform tasks such as excavation and backfill using various skid steer implements, welding, setting street light poles, loading and unloading trailers and equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
• Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites is preferred.
• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials.
• Strong understanding of safety practices related to construction operations.
• Willingness to learn new skills and be trained to operate different types of equipment as needed.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
