Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including front loaders, scrapers, dozers, graders, and compactors.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Follow foreman's directions for daily tasks and project expectations.
- Be a team player, contributing positively to the work environment.
- Communicate maintenance and repair needs promptly.
- Always adhere to company and governmental safety guidelines.
- Be prepared to work in all weather conditions, from extreme heat to cold.
Qualifications:
- Consent to a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Use hand tools for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Mechanical skills and background.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Physically capable: Ability to reach, grasp, and lift over 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle physical workload.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
