Job Summary
This role acts as a key support resource to the firm by managing all client invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Drafting and submitting invoices to clients
· Resolving invoice issues to ensure successful and timely submission
· Reconciling all checks and ACH payments with invoices
· Responsible for submitting and monitoring all invoice appeals to clients
· Processing and tracking all payments to third-party vendors
· Monitoring and pursuing stale accounts receivable
· Responsible for learning various client software systems and billing guidelines to ensure adherence to same
· Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
· Other tasks and projects as may be assigned
Qualifications
· High level of self-motivation
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Minimum of three years of experience as a billing specialist or similar role
· Experience with LEDES codes, Clio, Legal-X, Legal Solutions Suite, CaseGlide, Collaborati, Quovant, and Counsellink preferred but not required
· Computer literacy
· Microsoft Office Suite literacy
· Proficiency in English language
· Excellent organizational skills
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, scanner, telephones, and copiers. This job requires use of the hands and voice. This is an in-person role only, with no opportunity for remote work.
