JOB PURPOSE: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating clinical services, training new Clinicians and supervising the clinical department.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSBILITIES:
· Coordinate clinical services by providing oversight, supervision, and training of clinicians and staff.
· Monitor caseloads to ensure 1 Clinician to 12 minors.
· Maintain a small case load when needed and perform clinicians’ tasks when clinicians are unable to come to work.
· Monitor clinical services, documentation, and developing and maintaining ongoing partnerships with community-based providers.
· Conduct intake, admission, and diagnostic assessments with clients and documents information accordingly into the UC Portal and Vision Link.
· Ensure Clinicians are providing one weekly meeting with each minor, as well as two weekly group sessions.
· Provide guidance to the Clinicians to ensure collaborative efforts with Case Managers, FFS, and Case Coordinators to determine safe and timely release of minors.
· Attend all organizational required trainings and attend all departmental and program meetings to ensure that up-to-date information is received and /or information of policy changes or practice are adhered to.
· Attend treatment teams meeting to provide guidance.
· Conduct monthly, 10% of file audits for compliance with ORR standards.
· Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be at least 21 years old.
· Bi-lingual in Spanish and English; read, write, and speak both languages.
· Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
· Successfully pass a TB test annually.
· Successfully pass a drug screen.
· Be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned task.
· Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.
· Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
· Affidavit for Applicants for Employment with a Licensed Operation or Registered Children’s Home.
EDUCATION:
· Master's degree (or above) in social work, psychology, or related behavioral science degree.
· 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience.
· Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide clinical services in Texas.
LICENSES: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor
WORK LOCATION:
· Eagle Lake Children’s Center - in-person.
OTHER: Operational needs may require occasional working evenings and/or weekends. Must be available and willing to travel in case of an emergency evacuation and as the business need dictates.

ORGANIZATION: Ability to keep various on-going projects organized and files maintained accurately. Above normal levels of concentration and memory required. Requires good time management practices and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
PLANNING: Ability to think long term; up to one year in advance. Knowledge of project management processes and best practices.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Orientation: 40 hours
