Drafting technician – 3D (Relocation Options Available)

Are you a dedicated Mechanical Designer or Drafting Technician looking for a stable, growth-oriented position in a collaborative environment? Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll focus on creating detailed, sketch-driven 3D design concepts within a highly collaborative drafting team environment. Reporting to the Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Developing general assembly, sub-assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Ensuring feasibility and precision in your designs to align with manufacturing standards and capabilities.
Adding necessary dimensional tolerances for manufacturing directly within your designs.
Conducting dimensional verification and ensuring drawings match the company specifications.
Addressing questions and requests for clarification from your teammates (with limited or no customer interaction).
Performing adjustments and revisions as required.
Overseeing revision control to ensure up-to-date drawing versions are always published.
What you can offer:
Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software; SolidWorks experience is a plus.
Technical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles, including machining and fabrication are a plus.
