Job Title: Junior AutoCAD Drafting Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior AutoCAD Drafting Technician to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Daniel Island, SC. In this entry-level position, you will work closely with the Construction Operations Manager and assist in the creation of drawings for sports facility projects, following company standards, specifications, and guidelines. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in drafting and gain valuable experience in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, including updating Google Earth background images and creating material quantity layouts.
- Use AutoCAD to produce basic drawings for grading, structures, concrete, and other construction elements.
- Help with modifications to schematics and designs to meet customer requirements.
- Draft maps, diagrams, and profiles based on surveys to represent topographical contours and structures.
- Support the team with data sorting and identifying material costs.
- Assist with other tasks as needed within the Operations group.
- Sports construction experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Construction Drafting, Construction Planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under direction.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of construction drafting.
- Ability to use basic drafting and financial analysis software.
