PURPOSE

Serve as a support role for Project Managers while upholding LCCM’s CAN DO IT values. Ensure submittals are completed within the time, specifications, and quality level contracted. Prioritize, organize, monitor, and manage assigned submittals. This includes, but is not limited to: drafting drawings, compiling production and installation packets, and Project Manager support. This is a non-exempt position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drafting
· Provide detailed and accurate AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision drawings for a full submittal package per LCCM’s standards and Contract Specifications.

· Maintain current drawing files on all projects, with a current drawing list.

Packet Compilation
· Produce thorough and complete Installation Packets that ensure installation can be done accurately and efficiently. Include highlighted Floor Plan for job site navigation.

Project Management Support

· Obtain and analyze the detailed contract, scope of work, labor requirements, material requirements, and subcontractor arrangements, from the Estimator, prior to the commencement of construction.

· Support the assigned Project Manager in providing Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Installation departments with the information required to fulfill their responsibilities of the project and cooperate in necessary problem solving. Include in-person “Kick-Off” Meetings with individual departments as necessary.

· Be available to attend the Weekly Planning Meeting to determine and understand the status and projected schedule of all LCCM projects.

· Support the assigned Project Manager in accurately and thoroughly calculating material take-offs with proper quantities and material specifications to be turned into Purchasing.

· Assist the assigned Project Manager with preparing detailed and accurate Material and Hardware Order Logs to Purchaser for materials to be ordered.

· Assist with researching hardware and specialty items for projects.

· Assist with accurately and thoroughly calculating material take-offs with proper quantities and material specifications for assigned Project Manager approval.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

· A minimum of 2 years construction/manufacturing experience is required.

· Knowledge and experience with architectural plans is required.

· Knowledge of carpentry, cabinetry, and/or millwork is preferred.

· Proficiency in normal office-related software and equipment.

· Proficient in AutoCad, Cabinet Vision and Microsoft Office.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, bother verbal written, are required.

· Ability to manage and coordinate multiple jobs simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
