In this role you will be responsible for our overall Production Process and field operations in the Western region (managing bidadoo's Kent, WA yard and surrounding states OR, WA and ID) . This includes managing the Production Team and field operational infrastructure as well as our inspection and production process, bringing equipment to market via our online auctions and remarketing services.Responsibilities include inventory management, make-ready and other services, partner / yard and facility management, equipment inspections, seller / customer engagement, customer / buyer pre- and post-sale service, budget management, etc. The inspection process includes detailed inspections, research, writing compelling and detailed descriptions, photography / video, and auction listings to remarket and sale on a global basis. We are looking for someone who can help build the world class production team and field operational infrastructure as the largest and most trusted remarketing and auction company, on the world’s largest auction marketplace - eBay.
Responsibilities include :
- Managing all bidadoo and production and operational processes and assets in the region from time of acquisition, through the sale process and delivery to buyer
- Managing all aspects of the online production process, including equipment inspections, research, photography / video, descriptions, and logistics
- Scheduling and coordinating heavy equipment inspections with our partners / customers
- Manage local production, yard, operations and field customer support activities for the local business operations. Includes management of production, yard and other operational infrastructure and resources in the region
- Writing professional equipment inspections and descriptions that are informative, detailed, accurate, concise, convincing and balanced
- Typical equipment includes construction equipment, heavy machinery, ag / agriculture equipment, trucks, etc.
- Construction equipment yard management, including loading, unloading, light repairs, customer assistance, troubleshooting, etc. as required
- Manage the performance of direct reports, including work allocation, performance management, coaching, succession planning, career development and compensation
