Position Summary

Bidsquare is seeking a talented Content and Email Marketing Manager to drive content strategy and execution across channels. As the Content and Email Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing content strategies and tactics to promote Bidsquare.com and Bidsquare Cloud’s brand awareness and engagement. You will exercise your storytelling skills to concept, write, and execute content across channels including Email, Blog, Social, PR and others that align with both our B2C and B2B business goals and resonate with our dual target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that support Bidsquare's marketing and growth objectives
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality content, including blog posts, social media posts, and email campaigns, that engages and informs our audiences
  • Content Calendar: Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery and updates
  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute a regular cadence of  B2C emails, manage list preferences and actively grow user lists as well as B2B newsletter subscribers
  • Site Merchandising: Plan, manage and execute Bidsquare.com site merchandising content including Featured Items and Monthly Finds to increase bidder engagement and promote through email marketing and social media
  • Social Media: Develop, manage and execute social media posts with the goal of driving engagement with Bidsquare.com auctions as well as with the Bidsquare Cloud products, while also increasing followers 
  • PR: Amplify content to consumer and trade media outlets; identify opportunities to write and issue press releases and maintain press list and relationships with key media outlets
  • Analytics: Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement and meet key KPI’s

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Art History, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
  • 4 years of experience in content marketing or a similar role
  • Proven track record in driving traffic, engagement for B2C and inbound leads and optimizing funnel metrics and conversion rates for B2B business
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to digest data to inform strategies as well as inform storytelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Knowledge of growth marketing, email marketing and social media strategies
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, product marketing, content marketing, and email marketing
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), Hubspot, Latr, Klavio and other marketing tools
  • Ability to developcompelling value propositionsthat resonate with multiple target audiences, with the ability to switch between voices and messaging that would resonate with each 
  • Knowledge of fine art, design, antiques, and collectibles a major plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small but mighty team
  • Must be willing to work in the NYC office on a hybrid basis
