Job Overview
We are seeking candidates for our Sugar Loaf, NY main office to work directly under our Corporate Safety Director. Varied responsibilities assisting Corporate Safety Director with technical and administrative tasks. Exciting opportunity to gain experience with a diverse array of construction and demolition activities.
The position would entail time between the main office and project field locations, as needed. It is estimated that duties would eventually be roughly 70 - 80% office-based and 20 - 30% field-based. Position is based at the main office, with project locations throughout the NYC metro area, Hudson Valley and Catskills.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must have a background in a Safety or Industrial Hygiene-related field and have experience in construction safety oversight.
- Current 40-hr Hazwoper and OSHA 10-hr Construction training are required.
- Familiarity with NYCDEP EHS requirements preferred.
- Candidates must be able to work independently and multitask.
- Excellent computer, communication, organizational and written skills are a must.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Candidates must be self-starters and quick learners and demonstrate a familiarity with safety and basic environmental regulations and BMPs.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
