Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal professionals
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as letters and notices
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist with case management, including organizing files and maintaining calendars
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Communicate with clients
- Handle phone calls and inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
- Assist in preparing files, including organizing documents and folders
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
