Forklift Operator
Biewer of Lansing, LLC is looking to add a full-time Forklift Operator to
our team in Lansing, MI. This position will operate a powered industrial
truck to load and unload materials and move them to
and from storage locations, production areas, and distribution
sections for shipping and receiving.
Scheduling :
1st Shift: M – Th – 6 am to 4 pm
2nd Shift: M – Th – 11 am to 7 pm
Accountabilities:
Primary Responsibilities will include:
- Load and unload materials from trucks trai ler and
- Stack i tems safely in the correct storage bays.
- Locate and move al l stock of products.
- Identi fy product damages.
- Work in loading and production departments as
assigned.
Uti l ize RF Scan Gun for al l functions and
movement of material .
- Responsibly fol low al l safety procedures and
Qualifications:
- Experience operating 6,000 to 8,000 PIT is
required .
- Hydro -stat ic forkl i f t experience preferred.
- Abil i ty to work in al l elements of an outdoor
environment year-round.
- Abil i ty to bend and l i f t up to 50 lbs.
- Abil i ty to work in al l elements of an outdoor
environment year-round.
- Reading, wri t ing, and math competency
demonstrated by a high school diploma or
equivalen t .
