Weekend Utility Crew
Biewer of McBain is looking to add a full-time Weekend Utility
Crew member to our team in McBain, MI. This position will train
to ensure the overall cleanliness of the property. The operator
will use a variety of Powered Industrial Trucks to assist with these
tasks. We seek hard-working talent and people who like to
work!
Scheduling: 4:00 am – 2:30 pm - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and
Monday
Accountabilities:
- Sweep floors, and pick up broken pieces of lumber.
- Shovel debris into a wheelbarrow/skid steer or other
designated collection device.
- Operate the loader to move snow and debris.
- Operate a skid steer to move debris.
- Ensure safe work practices and follow safety
Procedures.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
- Operate a Loader, Skid Steer, and forklift for several
hours of a 10-hour shift.
- Walk, climb, and descend a flight of stairs several
times during a 10-hour shift.
- Ability to stand for 100% of a 10-hour shift.
- Employees in this position will work 75% of the time
outdoors and 25% of the time indoors.
- Ability to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Reasoning ability to apply to carry out instructions
furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
