What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front desk Agent position at Big Bear Lake Front Lodge?
Friendly and customer service oriented front desk agent needed for non smoking hotel in Big Bear Lake. Must have reliable transportation to and from work and during the day .
Caring, upbeat, reliable person needed that has worked in customer service or at a hotel before at the front desk. Prefer candidate with hotel background.
Recent , cashiering or reservation experience is preferred. Must be comfortable using a computer and answering phones, light office work.
Candidate must pass a basic background check. Shifts available 7 am to 330 PM or 330 PM to 11 PM or 12 AM. Must work some weekends and able to stand for long periods of time and walk up and down stairs easily and able to lift 20 or more pounds.
Duties include, but not a complete list, check guests in and out, answer phones, email correspondence, filing of documents , help guests with questions or concerns, check arriving or vacant guest rooms, check on laundry, and create/input, room reservations.
We receive a lot of emails and use a computer every day so strong computer skills needed to return emails and navigate basic computer software is needed.
