Job Summary:
Big C Lumber in Edgerton, OH is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards
- Building material sales to professional builders, remodelers, and serious do-it-yourselfers
- Develop and attain sales and margin goals
- Expand customer base
- Expand sales within current customer base
- Complete frequent on-site job inspections
- Maintain company vehicle
- Coordinate deliveries
- Maintain accurate records
- Provide timely quotations
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliers
- Perform special assignments/projects as required
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Advanced estimating and blueprint reading skills
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivation
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and move 40 lbs
- Ability to coordinate and work in a team
- Ability to learn in-house software
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience
- Proficient in takeoff's and blueprint reading
