The Project Manager, Client Engagement & Growth is the operational lead behind all business development efforts, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives, optimizing internal processes, and maintaining momentum across new business activities. Reporting to the Creative Director-Creative Development, this role acts as the chief coordinator, overseeing and managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure an efficient and strategic approach to growth.
This position requires exceptional project management skills, strategic problem-solving, and a process-driven mindset. The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in refining and implementing systems that support business development, ensuring every stage—from prospect engagement to new account transition—is executed seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Proposal Management
- Lead and manage timelines, deliverables, and follow-up actions related to new business proposals and pitches.
- Anticipate roadblocks and proactively address challenges to keep new business efforts moving forward efficiently.
- Partner with the Senior Strategist and Department Heads to support proposal content development, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with the Creative and Digital teams to ensure proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials are polished and brand-aligned.
Business Development Operations & Process Optimization
- Own and maintain key business development documentation, templates, and resources to support scalability.
- Manage and refine processes to improve efficiency in new business efforts, from lead qualification to proposal delivery.
- Track, monitor, and report on business development performance, providing insights that enhance decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and workflow improvements to streamline operations.
- Support the Creative Director-Creative Development and VP-Client Engagement, in the handoff process for new accounts, ensuring all internal teams are aligned and set up for success.
- Manage onboarding checklists, initial meeting coordination, and process documentation to facilitate a smooth transition from sales to account management.
Cross-functional Coordination & Internal Communication
- Act as the central hub for all business development activities, ensuring smooth communication between departments.
- Work closely with the Marketing, Strategy, and Digital teams to gather insights and support business development initiatives.
- Facilitate alignment between lead generation, proposal development, and client onboarding processes.
- Serve as a trusted partner, ensuring all initiatives are executed with precision and efficiency.
