Big-D Construction has an opportunity for a VDC Intern to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.
The VDC Intern position will support our BIM department in helping further develop skills in the area of BIM (Business Information Modeling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction). The intern will provide support with 3D modeling and coordination.
Qualifications:
- Required: Junior, or Senior within Construction Management or other related fields
- Must have good interpersonal and teamwork skills and a desire to learn.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
In this internship you will have hands on experience with the following:
- Working through BIM Coordination process with project teams and subcontractors.
- 3D application(s)
- BIM software, technology, processes, and services.
- Actively participate in preconstruction phases with clients to develop 3D models, As-Built and submittal drawings.
